We stayed there during the middle of September 2012 and loved it. The fact that we’d read about the type of accommodation before arriving meant that our expectations were realistic.

No it’s not a 5 * plush hotel, it’s a genuine experience of living on the beautiful island that is Gili air and for that we were very grateful, hotels are much the same around the World but there is definitely only 1 Kai’s Beach House and for that we’re grateful.

The staff were excellent considering that English is not their mother tongue. Let’s just say that I’m glad they spoke some English as our Indonesian is non existent!!

If you want a place to just relax and enjoy being out of the rat race then Kai’s is the place, the atmosphere is fabulous, location amazing and staff simply excellent.

We will be returning again soon.
