"We've been travelling to Asia for many many years and have now discovered this little diamond on Gili Air. We fell in love with this home the second we stepped into it. It has been a fantastically relaxing, tranquil place to spend the last few days of our holiday. The staff have all done a terrific job in looking after us. We will be extremely sad to say farewell to Kai's Beach House, but take back to Australia many wonderful memories. Life truely is a beach house on a tropical oasis.

The staff have been wonderful and one of our favourite nights here was eating the delicious dinner they prepared.
From waking up to the sound of the ocean to lazing away the days in one of the many tranquil spots around the house, great memories have been made.

Fabulous Beach house without a doubt the best place to stay in gill air. Each room was beautifully decorated and there were so many spaces in this gorgeous hippie chic beach house to lounge. Well equipped kitchen meant we could cook fabulous fish dinners and make cocktails to take on to the beach for sunset. Fluffy White towels and good quality cotton sheets at bed time meant luxurious comfort after a day of sunbathing and snorkelling. We loved it so much we decided to stay longer. Will definitely be returning.

Chic, comfortable, relaxing, amazing!
We just came back from Kai's beach house where my husband myself and our 2 1/2 y.o. spent 5 amazing days. At first we thought it would have been probably too much - but in the end we realized it was just perfect and we would have regretted having to leave earlier. The house is beautiful, very chic and with a lot of character. Very comfortable with plenty of relaxing areas (loungers on the first floors with amazing views; hammocks near the beach area; loungers in the garden). There's a huge living room where our son was roaming around having a lot of fun playing with us and with the toys that we brought for him. We loved being far away from the rest. It was the perfect opportunity to switch off completely from the rest of the world. However, the centre and the harbour are only a short bike ride away - although at night that can be tricky due to the fact that bikes have no lights. What we did, was to enjoy Fella's cooking skills for dinner (highly recommended her amazing stir fry with tempe sauce!!) or do a short walk on the beach and visit the nearby Island View or MataHari restaurant, where they serve decent food. Fella also babysat our little boy so we could dive on 2 consecutive days.
Beds were beautiful and very comfortable. It was amazing to sleep with windows open and hear the breeze of the sea. Highly recommended.

we can't wait to go back - just perfect
We arrived at Kai's beach house by horse driven cart - the view that greeted us was amazing - a beautiful house right on the beach in front of a lagoon - how much better can it get?
Su, the gardner took our bags to our rooms - all 3 are different; furnished with traditional beds with crisp white sheets, large en suite bathrooms open to the sky and from the Red and Blue rooms, views to die for form the huge veranda upstairs, another perfect spot for a sun downer.
Our friends had the Garden room which is like a little house, very private with its’ own veranda overlooking the garden.
We loved the plunge pool, perfect for relaxing in. Yanti, the cook did a great breakfast and the staff were so helpful, great with the children, we felt very looked after.
Nothing was too much trouble - Su brought lounging cushions down to the beach so that we could relax and watch the spectacular sunset - people come especially to this side of the Island to watch the sun go down as it’s the best side to see it from.
At night the house and gardens are beautifully lit and Saiful the security guard is on hand at night in case anyone needs anything.
We can’t wait to go back...

Unique Beach House
I stayed at Kai's Beach House with 3 friends and 2 teenagers. It was only a 3 days stay, unfortunately. We all loved the house on the beach and being on the quiet side of the island is not a problem. We hired bicycles and could get to all of the restaurants and bars within 5 minutes or so. The house is immacutaly clean and the design is wonderful. Every morning we had a breakfast of our choice cooked and served to us in the open air stye dining area. The very attentive e staff will happily go shopping for any supplies you may need. I hope I get a chance to go back for a second visit and would not hesitate in recommending friends and family to take a leisurely holiday there.
